Les contes de la Forêt de la pierre dorée

I am so pleased to be able to introduce the French language editions of Heartless and Veiled Rose! Allow me to present: Coeur perdu and Rose voilée.

Aren't they gorgeous? I love these new covers, so elegant and fairy tale! I've created two new pages for these books, one for Coeur perdu here, and one for Rose voilée here. Be sure to check them out.

Une fantaisie intemporelle qui vous enchantera!

I happened to have a handy Frenchman available to model the books for me . . .

Rohan grew the mustache for Halloween, and I thought it was adorable, so he kept it for a few more weeks. Just long enough for a French-edition photo shoot.

(He doesn't really smoke. The cigarette holder is merely a prop.)

Be sure to tell any of your French-speaking friends about these books. If you're studying French in school, you might want to pick up a copy for yourself! (It's been a while since college French for me, but I've been enjoying picking my way through a paragraph or two . . .) Enjoy!

How exciting Anne Elisabeth! I now wish I had taken French last year than Spanish:)Your French model looks as though he stepped right out of an old black and white movie;) Is Rohan really French, though? I thought I remembered reading he was from Sri Lanka...
Will Veiled Rose and Heartless be coming out in any other languages?

LOL, doesn't he look like an old movie star? :) But, you're right. He is from Sri Lanka. He just happened to be dressed like a "Frenchman" for me that day, which worked for the pictures! :)

At this point, I'm not contracted for other translations, but you never know! And MOONBLOOD and STARFLOWER are both going to be translated into French as well.

Amazing!
Also, I'm learning French right now, so as soon as I get good enough I'll try my hand at reading Heartless - if I can. Not sure how I'd my hands on the translated copy.

I tried to learn French on my own for a little while...that didn't come out too well, lol.
I do like the cigarette, it's so cool! Rohan looks awesome with the trench coat.
:D

Oh, and a random question, if you don't mind...what is the color of Rose Red's eyes?

You guys are awesome! Congrats on the French translations!

@Molly: Her eyes are silver . . . and enormous! :)

Wow! That's so fantastic! Congratulations, and I hope that the books will one day be available in other languages as well. Also, perhaps, audio formats? Hmmm? I've also been meaning to thank you for the changes in the security challenges to your blog. You still have to listen very closely to the audio challenges, but they are much more clearer than previous security codes. Anyway, I hope that you have a wonderful weekend and are looking forward to a wonderful Thanksgiving. God bless.

@Meredith: Working on those audio formats! I got permission from my publishing house, paperwork all signed, and now my agent is looking around at various audio publishing companies. Hoping for good things!

Awesome news! Oasis Audio is a wonderful company, and so is Christian Fiction Audio, (I think that's the name). Thanks so very much for looking into that possibility. Have a fantastic weekend.
