What Would You Sacrifice to Save Mankind?

The great city of Thyra has fallen and shadows spread across the land. Rowen Mar, the last Truthsayer, is taken before the Shadonae. But the Shadonae are not who she thought they were, and now they want to claim her as their own.

Caleb Tala, former assassin and prince, is now a Guardian of mankind. Exiled from his country, Caleb wanders the desert in search of his mother’s past and clues to who he is.

These are the last days of the Eldaran race. Rowen and Caleb must find their way along the dark path set before them by their ancestors: to heal what was wounded and love where hatred grows. But the road is narrow and the darkness beckons. If either of them fails, all will be lost…

And the human race will be no more.

What Others Are Saying About
HEIR OF HOPE

"I definitely recommend this series to readers of fantasy. Heir of Hope was the perfect ending with full of action and faith. It was epic and beautiful all at the same time." Laura Pol, Craftybooksheeps book review

"The allegory is very strong and very well written in this story. It does an excellent job painting a picture of Jesus' sacrifice and the great love it takes to offer one's life for another." Christian Teen Fiction Devourer

Congratulations on your newest release!!! Fantasy is one of my favorite genres so I can't believe I haven't checked out this series yet. I'll have to order the first one from the library.

Are you planning on venturing into other genres someday or is fantasy your true love? Which sub-genre of fantasy is your favorite to write? Do you have any tips on sticking to a daily schedule of writing?

EEEEEEE! HEIR OF HOPE!!!!
Can't wait to read it! :D (Caleb and Nierne! Rowen and Lore! Adventure and life with the Word! Yaaaaaay!)
When we get a copy, my sister and I are probably going to have a little spat about who gets to read it first. :P (I've probably said that somewhere else before, but oh well. :))

The new covers look so exciting!
My sister and I liked the old covers, too (they really stand out on the bookshelf :)). And we both have a kind of silly question...if you had stuck with the old designs, would the color for the Heir of Hope cover have been green?

Hi Annie! I love fantasy and just finished the rough draft for the first book in a whole new series, a fantasy steampunk. Steampunk is a genre where the world building is similar to the 1800's Victorian era or wild west with a science fiction or fantasy spin to it. I am really excited about writing in a new(ish) genre and this new story :)

As far as writing, I'm a mother of 4 kids, so I can't afford to wait for the muse to show up, and if she does, it's usually while I'm making dinner or helping my kids with homework. So instead, I write a certain amount of words every weekday when I'm working on a rough draft. Depending on the length of the book, it can take me 6 months to a year to finish the rough draft. However, I write pretty clean rough drafts, so I don't have to go back and rewrite a lot. And that's how I do it ;)

Merenwen, first, I absolutely love your name! A great fantasy name :) My husband and I are like you and sister with books: we fight over who gets to read it first ;)

You guessed correctly: the last cover was going to be green if we went with the old style. But it would have been the same image: Rowen going up against a shadow with her hand lit up.
