Beautiful! I noticed her hair when I saw this lovely picture during the Fan Fiction contest, and it's so cool to see a tutorial on how to create her hair! I don't have any talent where art is concerned, but I certainly do enjoy looking at the masterpieces other people come up with:)
Gorgeous! Thank you, Lauren! I really appreciated this. You have a masterful grasp of the art of shading.
That is beautiful. I am incredibly amazed by anyone who can draw anything. I will not be attempting this, the Lord did not put "drawing" or "art" into my bag of talents.
Ooooo, if I can make the time, I want to try doing this. Once upon a time I could draw if I had a picture. Lauren, your drawing is quite stunning. Thank you for sharing.
Such a clever idea to have a tutorial on drawing hair of all things. I'm sure it's something that's not easy. Did you draw with a dark shade of black or brown, (using a colored pencil), or did you use some other medium? In my Braille copy of Starflower, the person who wrote the cover description described the hair color as "rich dark," so I visualize dark chocolate. I know it must be lovely.
"The Golden Light" was a phenomenal poem, so you are a very talented poet as well. You truly captured Starflower's fear and ultimate decision to trust her guide. Keep up the excellent work. God bless you.
Wow! That's spectacular. Just out of curiosity, Lauren, how long have you been drawing?
Wow! Thanks for sharing with us, Lauren and Anne Elisabeth! I've never taken a drawing class, but art is close to my heart, so I definitely want to experiment with this! Thank you!
Phenomenal!!! you really have got magic in your hands...!! Keep it up!
